This is my first 30 day trail, infact its a 31 day trail, and it starts today. This trail is actually a 31 day challenge – ” Shredded for Summer” and is about losing as much weight as possible in the next 31 days. Thanks to Vic Magary, from Gym Junkies for coming up with this challenge. He has done excellent work of coming up with the detailed workout plan for each of the 31 days. Makes it very easy for lazy people like me

I shall be updating this page daily with my workout so as to keep track of my progress.
My weight today,11-May-09, is 72 Kg.

Tells you something about my current physical conditioning.
Today its Workout X of the shredded for summer challenge.
I never thought this workout was easy and I went into the gym prepared for a tough exercise, but believe me, this is really tough – I was nauseated half way through the workout. This showed me my current body conditioning
. I couldn’t complete the total workout. Overall I’m happy to start this and also enjoyed this workout.
1. Deadlift : 30kg X 10 reps X 3 sets with 1 min rest in between sets
2. Bench press: 30kg X 10 reps X 3 sets with 1 min rest in between sets
3. Squat: 30kg X 10 reps X 3 sets with 1 min rest in between sets
At this stage I was out of breath so much that I had to take a break of 5 minutes.
4. Barbell row ( replacement for body row): 30kg X 10 reps X 3 sets with 2 min rest in between sets
5. Push Press: 30kg X 10 reps X 2 sets with 2 min rest in between sets, 30kg X 6 reps X 1 sets.
I couldn’t complete the last set for 10 reps and I completely forgot about the Lunge.

– After 3rd and 4th sets had to take a 5 min break.

After the third circuit, you could’ve knocked me down with a feather, so I called it a day and did not finish the last circuit as planned.
