A good performer shouldnt lose his job unless the drastic happens. An average performer is also in the hit list, but being visible amongst the decision makers will definitely help to save your job. So the mantra is be part of company initiatives in be the driver of projects, tasks etc.. Another thought, if you loose your job think about what you really like to do and wanted to do it but never got the time. Innovate and make yourself an entrepreneur. Create a job for yourself Naveen,
